Indonesian Mountains Explored or Exploration Attempted

West Nusa Tengara: Sumbawa (2005)

This final leg of NETC’s multi-year survey of Java’s montane forests and the islands to the east undertook exploration of the two main mountains in the central part of the island, Mts. Pasak and Sangenges. The exploration was made during dry seasonal conditions and produced over 200 collections of begonia and associated species.
