Our future conservatory will house tropical plants and be surrounded by native plantings showing the local to global connection of conservation. Our botanical display will be the first of its kind in New England and will create a destination for the local community, tourists and researchers. Even during the cold winter months our community will be able to enjoy the lush growth of the plants from across the globe and kids can learn from the living specimens.

The Conservatory will become “The Heart of NETC.” Its glass houses, classrooms, laboratories and offices will provide a center for coordinated programs in education, research and display. Its infrastructure and engineering systems will give essential support to all programs and will be the base from which to launch expanded facilities in the future.
